Canon: Game of Thrones
Info: I'm Elizabeth! Soft goth lady in Ohio who has been into this canon for as long as it has existed.
I typically play Jon with very strong book influence: not all the events are the same between the two canon formats, but where they're the same or similar, his thoughts and motivations are probably also the same. The exception is when something is so different that it just can't overlap.
I typically do not play him past s7 and don't want S8 reveals in games (it messes him up so much in canon that it might seriously demotivate him in a game setting), but we can talk about it -- I have done a number of s8 meme/PSL things.
I talk a lot about canon on Plurk. I am not especially into most of the wilder theories: my favorite Youtuber for this canon is AltShiftX, but I also enjoy the Radio Westeros podcast and a few others. If you're familiar, that probably tells you where I'm coming from.
Desired CR:
- I'm open to a lot of things & have many preferences listed on this journal (short version: no Starks for shipping, also pretty unsure about Rhaenyra because he's directly descended from her, and I pretty much play him m/f, although suspiciously close platonic friendships with other guys is also pretty IC and welcome).
- Send me your Danys: Jonerys is my favorite, whether it's from the happy days or the sadder days where they're still in love but having a lot of Problems. She was my favorite character before Jon was.
- I'd love to meme or PSL with Ygritte but have not really had the chance: by the time I picked him up in 2017, she was a rare character.
- I'm always interested in sibling CR with Sansa in and out of games.
- Night's Watch pals, Davos, TORMUND, etc!
- Arya is great but I've had tremendously bad luck with her as a castmate in games (she's just not a strong voice for most players who attempt her).
- I'm sure I'm leaving characters out... the only ones I tend to hang back from are the ones he'd kill on sight.
- I also really enjoy cross-canon stuff with him, especially filling roles of canon characters with new friends and exploring how they're different.
Known Plans: I am in a couple of games with him, and always open to approaches. I post to memes when I can!

Info: My Dany is largely show-canon, but I've been reading these books pretty much as they were released starting with book 3 so I do fill in some gaps in her history from book canon. My thoughts on s8 are: eh, it happened, whatcha gonna do? I like exploring what-if alternate scenarios from s7/s8, and getting into some of the mess that went on in her head that drove her to do the thing she did, so if you want a late-canon line with her I'm game. I'm also fine taking her from anywhere else, honestly.
Desired CR: I'll ship anything at least experimentally, and I like exploring cr with castmates she never really got a chance to talk to in canon.
Known Plans: I'm not really looking for anything that complicated for her at the moment; she's available on the memes now and then and at request by people who know I play her. If you see her feel free to hit me up!

Info: Save for House of the Dragon, I'm largely a book canon player. I'm open though to playing off anyone from the show. Season 8 stuff is something I prefer not to touch, if I can, as my feelings are pretty much "it's shit". For Jon, I'd rather not do any show-like reveals or telling Dany about going crazy. I'm usually open to most plotting though. I'm a big ASOIAF/HOTD nerd. I love to chat about canon or plot things out.
Desired CR: Friendship, Romantic, anything. I'm open to negative cr as long as it serves a purpose.
Known Plans: I have Dany, Jon and Alicent in a game, but I love psls and memes as well.

a lot of which start with her living XD.) Ashara Dayne (Canon + an AU where she faked her death and escaped to Dorne). A host of long-dead Targaryens (Daenys, the Rhaenyi, to name a few). Nymeria (the original). Elia Martell. Rhaenrya. Helaena. Alicent. A few others that still need PBs. Several OCs, which were made using the House creation rules of the ASoIaF tabletop game.Canon they are from or OC: show and original. Plus some AUs.
Info: The OCs are the daughters of several houses made by the aforementioned House creation rules. (House Amberley, House Brewer, and House Blacktyde.) Three are from the House of the Dragon era, and the other is from Game of Thrones era.
Desired CR: EVERYTHING. Always here for friendship and romance and everywhere in between. AUs where they live, or end up in current universe time, or things go differently. Also I live for crosscanon shenanigans, or smooshing GoT together with other canons. I love exploring how things would change if certain characters lived or if things went differently. AUs are my JAM.
Known Plans: I have no plans to take anyone to a game any time soon

Canon they are from or OC: game of thrones and/or asoiaf depending on how up to date i feel on their arc. i do quick re-reads every now and then, and will review specific chapters but on the whole am more up on show canon than anything else!
Info: happy to AU though as a general rule i'm not super into modern AUs for sansa or brienne! give me your canon fix-its, other vaguely similar settings, etc.
Desired CR: honestly ANYTHING, particularly with brienne who i've been having trouble finding folks to play against. o/ i love a good gen plot with strong character relationships and intrigue/action/etc, but am also a consummate shipper. i'll pretty much play anything as long as i see a potential for it, and can work with folks to make that happen and plot some things out!
Known Plans: i've been test driving brienne around a few places, but no specific plans. i'm constantly searching for more folks to play her with so would love to do that, including sansa, theon, margaery, pod (does anyone even play pod???), tyrion, jon, whoever - if shipping, i'd die for a jaime but am not picky! for sansa, would love to play her more against other starks (including jon), theon, the hound (!!), would also die for a tyrion. really interested in post-show stuff with sansa, i think there is so much potential there! i haven't seen house of the dragon but don't particularly mind spoilers and am happy to muddle through there. i love the picture prompt meme in general, so you might often see me topleveling! i have open posts for both characters up as well in case you want to prompt me: sansa | brienne

Info: I play exclusively post-time skip Rhaenyra and S7/S8 Arya, but am very interested in both canon-adjacent and AU stuff in both memes and psls, especially with canonmates!
Desired CR: Calling literally any and all canonmates! Emotional conflict, sword and/or dragon battles, war, hurt/comfort, arranged marriage, I'm up for exploring all the crunchy themes from their canons and am pretty wide open when it comes to shipping for both of them (though as a player I much prefer to slowburn it so cr develops organically).
Known Plans: I don't intend to bring either of them to a game (it would take a few canonmates to convince me), but I post them around on appropriate memes fairly often.

Canon they are from or OC: i can do both books and show, though regarding elia i prefer the books to avoid the show only plot-points of rhaegar somehow getting his first marriage annulled (you're telling me a targaryen wouldn't choose an unwise polygamous lifestyle???) and the bizarre choice to name rhaegar's second son the same name as his first, who was recently brutally murdered (why????).
Info: rhaenys is an au where she survives the sack (what happens after that/who else makes it out depends on the thread)
Desired CR: as you might guess from the characters i play i LOVE aus. let's have women NOT be fridged for once! i'm definitely shippy trash but i also love platonic relationships/found family/blood family/arranged marriage gone wrong/arranged marriage gone right/all the complex bonds that can result from living in westeros.
really open to any canon/crosscanon characters at the moment but tbh i would DIE for an oberyn or doran. a woman needs her brothers!

Info: I'm on the PNW, hello, call me Komix. I do enjoy (most of) GoT show and THotD but I play from the book canon because it's easier for me. That said, yes I use show icons because again, it's easier.

For Jaime: Honestly, I want his family, his peers, his enemies, his friend(s?), people who will make him grow, people who will keep him from growing.
For Oberyn: His lovers, his children, his siblings, his nieces and nephews, Lannisters, etc. He's fun.
